Tune in on 945 kHz AM How to listen-in

You can listen to CHR in two ways:

  1. Using an ordinary radio, tuned to Medium wave, or
  2. Through a Patientline terminal, if your bed has one.

1. Using a radio

We transmit to the entire site through a series of low-power Medium Wave transmitters; these enable you to listen-in on any radio that is capable of receiving Medium Wave.

To hear us, tune your radio to 945 kHz AM

2. Listening through your Patientline terminal

We have a special page that gives details of how to listen to us on a Patientline terminal and also explains how you can call us free of charge for a chat. Listening via Patientline.
