Fundraising forms a vital part of our activities. We are a charitable organisation, depending entirely on our own fundraising for the day-to-day running of the station. Funds are needed to: puchase CD's, pay our annual licenses and running costs, maintain our equipment, and to improve and extend our service.

CHR members collecting at a supermarket - no comments about the legs! The mainstay of our fundraising efforts comes in the form of outside broadcasts, as pictured on the right. We are extremely grateful to the various stores that allow us to broadcast and collect at their premises. In the past few years we have raised in excess of £2000 through collections at Asda, Sainsbury's and Safeway's in Canterbury and Whitstable.

We always welcome any new ideas for fundraising. If you have any ideas, would like to help out with fundraising, or would like to make a donation, please do contact us!

Public Address facilities and Discos.

We also have equipment with which we can provide P.A. facilities and Discos that are suitable for a wide range of fetes and events, both indoors and outside. We normally provide a "total solution", delivering and commissioning the system, and then staffing the PA stand/disco for the event. Our rates are very competitive and all money raised goes to the station funds.
